旅行改变一生

中学毕业后的Julie Wimmer还未参加医学院的入学考试就转头登上了去日内瓦的飞机,在瑞士和英国旅居数年后回到布拉格时,她已是一个独立自主的成熟女孩。时在百事可 乐公司,我担任采购经理一职,专职负责从爱尔兰采购原材料,我还有愉悦的婚姻,但是接下来呢?我还要在百事可乐这样枯燥地采购多久呢?当年长一些以后,也 许就更难更改已有的生活道路了,人们总是安于现状。

许不是所有人都有勇气做出这样重大的决定,Julie曾有勇气放弃医学院的学业,这回她 又很自然地请了长假,远赴南非度过了后来被证明改变其人生道路的一个月美好时光。在充满原始生机的旷野,Julie艳于这里的唯美主义图景:我惊喜地 发现这些刻有装饰图案的,由数以千计的珠子串起来的杯子、盘碟甚至玩偶,葡萄酒瓶都不是按一般想象中那样给包装起来……”这也使她回想起父母曾经从保加利 亚度假归来时带给她的海贝,和她玩耍时用贝壳串成的项链。也许Julie 注定要和珠宝结缘,旅行归来在一次采购易拉罐时,看到了一些难忘的纯手工制作的珠宝,她当时就询问店员是怎么做出来的,一开始只是好玩,短短的三个小时内 她就掌握了基本法则和技巧。之后在家人的支持下,Julie 经理办公室搬到了自己的工作室,开始了设计师生涯。

管理者的工作经历让我突然间领悟到必须找到一个特别的产品市场。南非的旅行当即在Julie 头脑闪现——就从餐具装饰珠宝开始吧,比如用来裹餐布的指环……Julie的珠宝店就这样问世了,然而并不是很多人愿意为一块餐布戴上戒指而花钱。难道你就不能为我们做手链吗?们的建议无意中将年轻的设计师推向了时尚前沿。

伦敦居住时Julie报名参加儿童书籍绘图指导,工作之余最爱动手制作小玩意儿,加上天赋的想象力,经过一番努力,短时间内她就将艺术梦想变成现实。3年前的活力系列受到了美国Fashionoffice 杂志的重视,她本人也被该杂志评为世界著名设计师;2006年的Metal Story”是个第一时间就能抓住你眼球的非同寻常的系列,性感可人的模特装扮很容易就让人想起风情万种的肚皮舞娘。通过精炼珠宝来体现性感十足的女性内衣是Metal Story”的故事主线。

除了推出自己的设计,近年来Julie还跟著名珠宝品牌Banani联手设计了高档珠宝配饰;也为诸如年度捷克斯洛伐克少女选举这样醒目的赛事设计王冠;不久后她的作品还将被捷克著名的坎帕博物馆收藏……

每一位女性都是独特的,因此她值得拥有一件富有创意的珠宝。Julie Wimmer 的成功看似偶然,但幸运的是,曾经的转折让她向创意无限的艺术梦想靠近。现在想不到是否还能找到更好的生存之道,但是如果不是从事今天的工作,我想我 的内心会很贫乏。我喜欢心灵的满足感,不仅仅是在珠宝展上,也来自平日顾客的来访和他们满意的微笑,两个月之后他们的朋友会被介绍到我的店里来,接着又会 有他们朋友的朋友……

记者:你去过很多地方旅行,有没有你最难忘的,或是给你印象最深的一些地方?

Julie: 我喜爱墨西哥海水(靠近Yucatan滩)的颜色;泰国有那么多友好的人;南非壮观的山河、湖泊、野生动物、沙漠……广袤的大自然给我持续一生的灵感。 实每天都有美好的东西就在我们周围,比如当你喝下一杯茶时,它让你的鼻子、眼睛都很舒服,也让你的心灵跟着享受。如果你有机会旅行,你会发现诸如人们住 在哪里、穿什么衣服之类的也都很有趣。

记者:你如何看待自己的活力系列作品?

Julie:它们是由一些贵金属和不是那么贵重但很稀有的金属制成。我想制作一些大号的、 能突出矿石质地的珠宝,这些矿石对人们的身体和心理是有益的。自古以来很多国家的文化都相信某些特别的宝石蕴含着强大的能量,有治疗的作用。还有,每个女 性是不一样的,我想加重其独特性。这个系列不仅表现新潮的感觉,更能让她们实现只属于我的愿望。

记者:有着浓浓原创意味的Metal Story”花了多长时间完成?它到底要讲述一个什么样的故事?

Julie:它花了我差不多6个月时间才完成。我要讲的故事就是,珠宝不单单是衣服的配 饰,它们本身就好像衣服一样直接可以成为装饰的主体,这些模特们就是被设想去煽动人们的视觉感受,让人眼前一亮、让人惊愕不已。当时模特们是朝不同的方向 摆姿势拍摄的,随着闪亮的珠宝一起显得非常性感。我一开始就特意想用夸张一点的奢华材料,除了珍贵宝石,还用上了大量金属碎片、细链条。我选了一个不太一 样的地方拍摄,在一个老工厂的厂房里,古旧的厂房和这些漂亮半裸的模特形成的鲜明对比看上去很特别很生动,为了突出整体效果,模特们的身体部位特意做了特 处理。

记者:2007年你做了哪些重要的工作,比如有什么特别的作品推出之类的?能不能讲讲你为名人设计珠宝的故事?

Julie:去年我几乎所有的时间都花在了室内装饰设计上。不幸的是我遭遇了一次事故,有4个月的时间我只能在键盘上用左手工作,不过我很享受家居设计。

捷克最有名的歌手露西?比拉有一款我设计的项链,还有很受欢迎的节目主持人卡特尼娜?汉姆诺娃采用了Metal Story”系列来拍摄一组由著名摄影师雅克伯?路德维克担纲的宣传照片。

记者:当你被邀请负责捷克美少女2006”的王冠珠宝设计后,当时是不是很兴奋?你有没有想过一个特别一点的设计概念?

Julie这个竞赛的参选者是1518岁的少女,所以我想采用一种有别于经典珠宝的设计,让王冠最好把人显得年轻顽皮一点。最后它们看上去非常理想,很细的金属丝装点起来显得很精神,而且有轻盈的动感。

记者:可不可以对你的原创性设计试着做个结论?

Julie:我想不能。我的工作是艺术,在这个领域没有准则和限制。每一件作品都是我当时情绪、感受、幻想和审美的反映,我无法设计出我不喜欢的东西,因为当我创作一样作品时我是自发的。当我专注于手下的作品时,我对周围发生的一切都不在意。

记者:能不能简单谈谈你2008年的工作计划?

Julie:我有太多计划,恨不能把它们都实现。我计划完成一款施华洛世奇水晶作品,很斑斓绚丽的那种,但它们要到今年春天才亮相。另一个大工程是一款奢华家居系列,但现在告诉你太早了,不过它们会让你惊喜的……

La storia di Julie Wimmer che ho intervistato a Praga mi ha ricordato un po' quella di Giovanna Mezzogiorno ne La finestra di fronte.

Lavorava in un ufficio quando accompagnò un'amica ad acquistare un regalo di nozze. Vide dei gioielli bellissimi, chiese: "Chi li fa"? E il proprietario del negozio rispose: "Io". "Mi insegnerebbe a farli"? "Certo, vieni quando vuoi".
Detto fatto. Julie si licenziò dal suo grigio impiego per creare, creare gioielli e bijoux in metallo e pietre preziose e semipreziose. Ognuno è un pezzo unico fatto interamente a mano.
Oggi ha un negozio-laboratorio a Praga che consiglio a tutti di vedere e le sue creazioni sono vendute in varie gioiellerie e negozi in centro città. E' un bel segnale e anche un bell'insegnamento per tutti quelli che si lamentano del proprio lavoro senza fare niente per cambiarlo, o no?

Julie, 31 anni, oggi è una delle giovani designer più quotate in patria e fuori. Ed è chiaramente felice: ha gli occhi che ridono mentre mi mostra le sue -davvero splendide- creazioni. Collane, orecchini e braccialetti insoliti, colorati, particolari. Ma anche fermatovaglioli e bicchieri e calici in pregiato cristallo di Boemia percorsi da fili di metallo e pietre preziose.

Quando hai scoperto la tua creatività?
Già da bambina: ho imparato a lavorare a maglia prestissim: facevo sciarpe e maglioncini. Era anche un modo per possedere qualcosa di diverso da indossare: prima del 1989 non esisteva la moda, non c'erano veri negozi: vestivamo tutti allo stesso modo, una sorta di divisa. (Il ricordo del "prima", prima della caduta del muro, prima della "Rivoluzione di velluto" è l'unico momento in cui gli occhi solari di Julie si velano per un attimo).

Quali sono le tue fonti di ispirazione?
I viaggi: adoro l'Africa e l'Asia. Ma anche la vita a Praga, l'atmosfera cosmopolita che si respira adesso.

Come scegli i materiali?
Acquisto in grandi quantità i fili di metallo e le pietre: turchese, ossidiana, quarzo, ametista...Poi inizio ad assemblarli. Ogni pezzo è il risultato del mio lavoro e del mio pensiero: non ho aiuti né condizionamenti. Ma amo anche lavorare "addosso" alle persone: vengono qui, mi spiegano ciò che vogliono, come si vestono, il loro segno zodiacale...e io costruisco i gioielli sulla loro personalità. (a proposito: la pietra della Bilancia è l'ossidiana)

Conquistata, oltre che dalla bellezza degli oggetti, anche dai prezzi assolutamente abbordabili chiedo se vende anche online (a Milano, un braccialetto fatto a mano in ametista e quarzo rosa a meno di 20 euro scatenerebbe una rissa):
Ho un sito, ma ho poco tempo per gestirlo. E anche per soddisfare gli ordini. Io faccio tutto da sola, non ho alcun aiuto (anche perché ho un carattere difficile, non amo delegare, aggiunge ridendo), e se prendo troppi ordini online poi i clienti devono attendere gli oggetti per settimane o mesi: non ha senso. Per questo, almeno pe ril momento, l'e-commerce per me è marginale.

Preferisci perdere delle vendite piuttosto che rendere il tuo lavoro meno esclusivo?
Assolutamente. Avevo già un lavoro "in serie", da impiegata. Questa è la mia vita, è il mio modo di esprimermi. In ogni pezzo c'è qualcosa di me, non voglio svalutarlo.

Lei è praghese, aveva un lavoro sicuro e noioso in un grigio ufficio e come ogni migliore amica un giorno accompagnò la sua a scegliere dei regali di nozze. Fu lì che vide dei gioielli artigianali che la colpirono ed ebbe la folgorazione: decise di cambiare vita per dedicarsi alla sua passione per la creatività. La designer si chiama Julie Wimmer ed è un’apprezzata creatrice di gioielli lavorati con pietre e metalli preziosi, con un occhio al vintage e uno al gusto contemporaneo. Česká módna návrhárka Julie Wimmer predstavila kolekciu oblečenia a šperkov, ktorou opäť prekvapila. Extravagantné modely provokovali a boli veľmi sexy.

Niektorí z vás o nej ešte možno nepočuli, ale Julie Wimmer sa rozhodla búrať bariéry a pomaly sa tak dostáva na výslnie českej, ale aj zahraničnej módnej scény. Ihneď po ukončení strednej školy žila a študovala vo Švajčiarsku a Veľkej Británii. V Londýne navštevovala tematické semináre týkajúce sa ilustrovania kníh pre deti a tu aj začala rozvíjať svoj talent a zmysel pre dizajn. V súčasnosti žije v Prahe, ale jej návrhy veľmi často vychádzajú z inšpirácie načerpanej na cestách po Ázii, Afrike či Amerike.

Julie Wimmer sa prioritne zameriava na kvalitné, ručne šité odevy pre najnáročnejšiu kientelu, pričom dámsku módu vždy dopĺňa o vlastné originálne šperky a doplnky.

Teraz by som vám rada predstavila kolekciu s príznačným názvom Metal Story, ktorou na seba mladá návrhárka strhla mediálnu pozornosť a dostala sa tak do podvedomia širšej verejnosti pohybujúcej sa vo svete módy.

Dominantným motívom boli rafinované strihy sexy spodnej bielizne. Modelky mali provokovať a šokovať. Samotná bielizeň bola vždy doplnená o bavlnené návleky siahajúce až po kolená a čierne pásikové črievičky.

Celá kolekcia bola vytvorená z veľmi extravagantných materiálov, ako sú rôzne druhy kovov, korále a iné aplikácie, a silne pripomínala oblečenie juhoázijských brušných tanečníc. Spodná bielizeň bola vyrobená z korálok, kamienkov alevo látok pošitých flitrami, to všetko doplnené o veľké množstvo ozdôb a retiazok. A práve lesk a trblietanie modelov človeka zaujali na prvý pohľad.

Na nafotenie celej kolekcie Julie Wimmer vybrala opäť veľmi neobvyklé miesto a to interiér starej prázdnej továrne. Kontrast krásnych polovyzlečených modeliek a neprívetivého špinavého prostredia vo výsledku vyzeral skutočne zaujímavo.

Julie Wimmer predstaví ďalšiu kolekciu v apríli ďalšieho roku a ako sama uviedla, môžeme sa tešiť na exkluzívnu sadu šperkov, ktoré budú celej kolekcii dominovať. Nechajme sa teda prekvapiť, ale iste sa máme už teraz na čo tešiť!

Julie这个竞赛的参选者是1518岁的少女,所以我想采用一种有别于经典珠宝的设计,让王冠最好把人显得年轻顽皮一点。最后它们看上去非常理想,很细的金属丝装点起来显得很精神,而且有轻盈的动感。

Efva Attling
Efva Attling (famous designer of jewelry) was born in 1952 in Stockholm of Sweden. Louis Comfort Tiffany
Louis Comfort Tiffany was a famous jewelry designer from America. He was born on 18 th February, 1848. He was well known for his effort in stained glass. He was the American artist who was related with the Aesthetic and Art Nouveau movements. He was associated with an impressive mutual of designers called as the Associated Artists which contained Samuel Colman, Lockwood de Forest and Candace Thurber Wheeler. He has designed lamps and windows in stained glass and blown glass, jewelry, ceramics, glass mosaics, metalwork and enamels. He was died on 17 th January, 1933 and was covered in Greenwood Cementery in New York.

Julie Wimmer is a well-known jewelry designer. She was born on 18 th October, 1975 in Ostrava. She is the excellent designer in the area of glass and jewelry. She makes and designs original works of author decorated with precious metals, semi-precious metals and gemstones. In her babyhood, she was fanatic herself to handicraft and creative art. After completing studies at grammar school, she studied in Great Britain and Switzerland for few years. Julie Wimmer is a top jewelry designer in all. I’ve found occasionally the wonderful jewelry collection of Julie Wimmer, announced as a unique fashion collections of jewels with an esoteric effect arise that attract the attention of the ambiance not only on festive occasions but also if they are worn every day.
